There are two simple, cost effective types of wellness programs to implement in the workplace. Yoga and Fitness
Despite growing costs of healthcare, some people still shy away from yoga. I’ve heard everything. “I can’t twist up like pretzel. I’m not an athlete. I’m not flexible. I have bad knees, bad arms, bad legs, a bad back…” and my all time favorite, “I can’t afford to make time.” Guess what? You can’t afford not to. Anyone can benefit from this ancient practice. My classes are suitable for just about anyone. All you have to do is show up. You’ll be feeling better in no time. Just look at the testimonials. I bring the mats (if you do not have your own), straps and blocks right to your workplace. And the first class in on me. So you can try it first, feel the benefits first hand, free of risk. Below are just a few benefits, for both owner and employee, of implementing yoga into your workplace.
FEWER SICK DAYS - Employees who are healthy and happy contribute to the bottom line. Yoga revitalizes the immune system; Helps remove toxic waste and relieves fatigue when practiced consistently.
LESS PAIN - Anyone who has been in the corporate world knows how it feels to have back pain, neck pain, wrist pain and a host of other physical ailments ultimately affecting their well-being and contribution to company goals. Yoga strengthens the body while increasing flexibility and stamina leaving your employees feeling rejuvenated and ready to go to work.
FOCUS – Meeting deadlines and client expectations are all stress factors that can not only be managed, but significantly improved through practicing yoga and meditation. Yoga and meditation helps increase awareness helping your employees to focus, deliver a more rapid response time and gives them the ability to stay calm and cool during stressful situations.

When practiced on a regular basis, yoga will help your employees maintain a calm balanced energy decreasing the chances of office burnout and lethargy.
